For Bands
You make music in Austria and build your own stages one show at a time. You book the gigs, you run the socials, you drive the van, you sell the shirts. That is exactly why we exist.
Resonance Music & Community is a registered nonprofit association based in Innsbruck, founded in September 2023 by musicians, for musicians. We are not a label, not an agency and not a management company. We take no rights to your music, no cut of your gigs and no say in what you sound like. What we build is the infrastructure that independent bands usually have to improvise on their own.
What you get as a member
Shared reach
Our channels become yours. New release, upcoming show, a video you are proud of — we carry it further, to an audience that follows us precisely because it cares about independent music from this region. You also get your own band profile on rnc4music.com with your bio, photos and links, so there is a place we can point people to that is not a social feed.
The merch store
Independent merch usually fails on the same problem: you have to pay for a print run before you know whether anyone wants it, and then the boxes sit in the rehearsal room. Through our store you offer your own merch without paying anything upfront. We handle production and fulfilment — made on demand, shipped across the EU — and you share in the revenue on every item sold. No minimum order, no stock, no risk.
Events
We put on our own concerts and book them from within the association. If you are a member, you are in the pool we book from. That also means you are not alone on the bill: you play alongside bands from the same network, and their audience hears you too. Line-ups built this way tend to fill rooms that a single band would struggle with.
Support that matters day to day
The unglamorous things that eat a band's time and confidence. Marketing and content, help with booking, legal questions, equipment, support with grant applications, and mentoring from people who have already been through the same thing. If we cannot help ourselves, we usually know someone in the network who can.
We push you
Not as a figure of speech. Band profile, posts, mentions, room on our stages, introductions inside the network. We have every interest in you getting bigger, because the association is only as strong as the acts in it.
Membership
Ordinary membership gives you full access to all programmes and services, plus voting rights and an active say in RnC's direction at the General Assembly. This is the standard for bands.
Supporting membership is for people and organisations who want to back the mission with a larger contribution, with access to events and the community but without voting obligations.
What it costs
Joining costs nothing.
Being part of the community, connecting with other bands, being in the room when things get planned — that is free. We want the scene to come together and we are not putting a price tag in front of that door.
A contribution only comes into play once you actually use our services. It scales with what you take: a band that is simply part of the network pays nothing, a band that wants the full package — merch production, marketing support, regular bookings — contributes accordingly. Fee rates are set annually by the General Assembly, so they are decided by the members, not by a management.
You always know what you are signing up for before you commit to anything, and you take no financial risk by joining.
Questions bands usually ask
Do we have to sign an exclusive deal?
No. Membership is not a management or label contract. You keep every right to your music, your name and your recordings, and you are free to work with anyone else at the same time.
Do we have to play every show?
No. We ask, you decide. Nobody is obliged to take a date that does not fit.
We are just starting out — is this for us?
Yes, particularly. A band with a few hundred followers gains the most from shared reach and shared line-ups. That is the point of the whole thing.
Do we have to be from Tyrol?
Our focus is Tyrol and the surrounding region, but the association works Austria-wide.
Can we leave again?
Yes, at any time. Nothing binds you beyond the current membership year.
What happens to our merch if we leave?
Production runs on demand, so there is no stock to settle. Your designs stay yours.
How to join
Write to us at info@rnc4music.com or on Instagram at @rnc4music. Tell us who you are, what you play and where we can hear you — a link to Spotify, Bandcamp or YouTube is enough.
We then look together at what you actually need and what makes sense for you. Nobody gets sold a package they did not ask for. Admission is granted by the Executive Board.
